| NEW-model (prewar) from 1944 | ||||
![]() |
Guessing from the advertisement picture of that times, the greatest change was the view finder. The square optical view finder in a rectangular housing attached on top of the body was the special feature of the ORIGINAL-model. The NEW-model has a square optical view finder built into the body. Whereas, the metallic disk-shaped ornament, the design form of the rear cover lock opener, and the design of the nameplate around the lens were left, the NEW-model is a very interesting product as it shows the intermediate transition of how the design changed from the ORIGINAL-model to I-model. | |||

| NEW-model (postwar) from 1946 | ||||

This is the first product released after WWII. Its design has followed NEW-model (prewar), and has the stamp of "Mycro PATENTS." on its top part. The body is same as the ORIGINAL-model, and joined to the top part with the screw and rough soldering. This model gives us the impression that they are the temporary products -- the eye piece finders are also soldered, not fixed with the screw, or some of them are without glass. After the war, probably, people wanted to earn money soon. So they made the products from the gathered-up parts in a hurry. But that way reduced quality. |
